Cipora Cohon, Garden Associate, AmeriCorps

Cipora (she/her) joins NS/S after several years of volunteer farm work and work trade, with a distinct interest in regenerative agriculture and an eye on the future of farming through climate change. Born and raised in Tucson, she is happy to be home after several years in the Northwest, where she began to get involved in sustainable agriculture and intentional community. She will be graduating this winter with a BA in Religious Studies and a minor in Anthropology, and is ecstatic to be working with NS/S, combining her love of gardening, organization, and culturally-grounded conservation. When she's not at work, Cipora spends time writing in community, playing with her baby sister, and making potions in her kitchen.
