Vigna unguiculata. A beautiful black and white bean grown in several Tohono O'odham communities. Variable mottling, may be all black or splotched on white. Pick when the pods are small for excellent "green beans" in the low desert. Very tasty when mature and dry too, and super-productive. A staff favorite! From our Seed Bank Collection.
