Catching Moisture - Canvas Print

  • MINICAN
  • Catching Moisture - Frog

With rain clouds approaching, a frog reaches out to a dragonfly, intent on a meal. Frogs are associated with the rainy season as desert frogs (Scaphiopus couchii) hibernate waiting for the summer rain. The frogs croaking their mating call as they rise with the rain is also a reminder of the return of life-giving moisture to a dry desert.

    6" square. Wrapped Canvas.

"Catching Moisture" (mini-canvas print)

We love this art piece, by Gerald Dawavendewa, of a Frog waiting to catch a Dragonfly snack underneath gathering rainclouds; one of our faves! Great composition, jewel-like colors, and obvious humor, are reasons we really like this artist's work (we have several)! Plus we really like Frogs!
Many Blessings ♡♡♡
