Round Coiled Basket with Open Stitch Design

This handwoven Tohono O'odham round basket is by Angie Molisto and measures approximately 6.5 inches in diameter and 1.25 inches deep.

Plant materials are hand gathered from the Sonoran Desert for basket weaving. The interior green coils (warp) are native Beargrass and the white stitches (weft) woven around the coils are sun-bleached Soaptree Yucca.

Keep away from sunlight to maintain color variations.
