The tomatillo plant sprouted and grew in a classroom hydroponics system. We transplanted it into our school garden and are awaiting the fruits of our labor!
The plant has a strong smell to it and has grown well so far.

Resilient, high producing plants

This is my second season growing these Toma Verde tomatillos and I am so impressed. You will want to support the plants with a cage or trellis because a couple of the stems broke in late summer due to the weight of so much fruit! Healthy plants, no issues with pests or disease, and produced into November.
