Gossypium hirsutum.  Originating in Central America and traded north, this variety was grown by the Hopi from time immemorial. It has a short growing season (100 days) and produces small bolls. Will continue to flower throughout fall in frost-free zones. Our original seed came from a USDA research geneticist.  From our Seed Bank Collection.

• A warm season crop that requires hot weather
