Amaranthus cruentus. There is a good deal of variation in this variety. The inflorescences are predominantly red but marbled with green. Some all red and all green inflorescences as well. The green to pink leaves sometimes have light red veination, sometimes white. Originally collected at Huazulco Pueblo in the state of Morelos, Mexico in 1979. From our Seed Bank Collection.
