I've loved the combination of red raspberry & red chili jam since I first tried the "El Diablo Tart" in the Santa Fe Cooking School Cookbook. I also love ginger, so I figured why not try this?
I tried it on toast and on whole grain crackers, with butter and with cream cheese. I liked the jam best with a little butter on the whole grain crackers... until today when I had my lunch! Smokey bacon, a cheese omelet (Cheddar) and topped with a tablespoon of this jam. WOW... just WOW! The PERFECT combination of sweet and savory and spicy all in one. I plan on getting more next time they are in stock.
Yes it's pretty pricey, but I figure making this jam might just be a bit of a pain (raspberry thorns, peeling/roasting the chilis... not to say the overall mess of making your own jam).
I use this jam every day & buy it by the case. I love the heat and that it's organic. Great with nut butter, plain & I experiment with it in glazes.
♥️♥️
We liked this product and gave it as gifts. All recipients really liked the product.
This jam is really good! Unusual and yummy. We also bought the blue corn pancake mix, the pancakes have a nice texture, great product. Looking forward to using the seeds in our cold frame soon.
