Brassica campestris. Old World introduction; this mustard is often found growing wild in fields in Tarahumara country. The leaves are only slightly spicy and are harvested when young to be used in a salad or cooked. The flowers also have a wonderful light spiciness, great to add to a salad or just munch in the garden. Plant in the fall in the low desert, or in early spring in cooler climates. Approx. 0.2g/100 seeds per packet.
