Phaseolus vulgaris. (Tarahumara Canario). These yellow/cream beans are a tasty staple of the mountains. Originally collected in several locations in Rarámuri country in Chihuahua, Mexico. Plant in early spring or late summer in the low desert. Unlike most of the beans in our collection, this one is determinate, meaning most of the beans will ripen at one time.
